Volunteer Talk

Since the early 1900s, when the motorcycle became more common following World War I, people have been racing bikes on roads and race circuits around the world. Motorcycle road racing is still going strong around the globe with series like Moto GP and World Superbike, as well as here in the United States with Moto America.

Many people don’t know that Oregon hosts its very own motorcycle road racing club, OMRRA (Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association). World of Speed volunteer Nick Taylor holds an OMRRA expert road racing license. Come listen to Nick chronicle the history of motorcycle road racing in Oregon, discussing the types of bikes competitors ride, and where you can catch some of the fastest two-wheel racing you’ll ever see, right here in Oregon!
