Frequently Asked Questions
I have a Family Plus membership. Do all my children get free admission to museums as well?
Maybe! Free admission is only guaranteed for the named cardholders, however some museums may choose to allow free admission for member children. If you need more information about a specific museum, we encourage you to call the other institution to verify benefits before you visit.
Are all galleries and events free with this reciprocal benefit?
No. While general admission is covered by NARM and ROAM, special attractions may not be included. Often, participating museums will choose to honor membership pricing for these extra ticketed events, so ask at the admissions desk!
I’m hungry! What about museum café’s and gift shops?
Yes! Gift shops and cafes at participating museums offer member pricing to our World of Speed museum members as well!
I have an Individual membership. Why don’t I get reciprocal benefits?
The benefit level is set by the NARM and ROAM association for memberships at the $100 level and above. This ensures that all participating museums are playing by the same rules.
If you have an Individual membership at World of Speed, you may consider upgrading to the Family level as the NARM benefit is a significant value!
For example, if you are visiting in the Seattle area, buying tickets to the LeMay Automotive Museum and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, MoPop, the Burke, and MOHaI in Seattle would cost $91 for one person. A Family membership would get you two admission cards, so you and a guest could explore museums across the continent together at a fraction of a cost!
Which museums are covered by this benefit?
For a complete and updated listing, visit the websites for both ROAM and NARM. Plenty of fun and unusual museums are included in this benefit. Museums are awesome places to explore when visiting a town or even just passing through on a road trip. Take advantage of this benefit and explore a location you may not have thought of before!
